In the words of the Voltumna boys: “Pinot Noir forges itself on the soil where it grows, the land where it rests its feet and the air it breathes. We asked biodynamics to be the cradle for this grape in our winery and terroir, to make it face the world as if it were his”. This movingly elegant and multi-layered natural red sees most of the mass fermented in whole bunches with stems, while elevage takes place in different old barrels. Rich and sensual, it bursts with ripe appleberries, sweet tobacco, allspice and marasca cherries.
