OSLAVJE FUORI DAL TEMPO 2006
A truly unique and incredibly rare gem, Fuori dal Tempo (meaning “Outside Time” in Italian) is a limited edition of the Oslavje blend made only in exceptional and once in a lifetime vintages. A blend of 60% Chardonnay and 40% Sauvignon, it sees about 35 days of skin contact during fermentation before aging 3 years in large wood and no less than 9 years in the bottle. Nothing short of absolute and transcendent beauty on the palate: complex and ethereal notes of Assam tea and spiced rhubarb, cashew and apricot crumble with Rum-like esthers and herbal undertones, smoked butternut squash with bitter orange marmalade and gingerbread. No added SO2 nor fining or filtering.
