PREMICE 2017
This stunningly natural 100% Savagnin from Jura’s tiny but wonderfully genial Les Dolomies is a pure and uncompromising freshly-squeezed terroir juice. Coming from part younger and part 60 years old biodynamic grapes from a single tiny parcel, it sees wild fermentation in barrels and aging in used oak with topped up barrels in the “ouille” style. Electrically aromatic and shining with flashes of fresh citrus, it displays a lush and expansive mouthfeel: fresh tangerine peel with blood orange, rosemary, caramelised pecans and browned butter.
