RIPAZZO ROSSO
The wine’s name is a play on words that mixes the “ripasso” technique with “pazzo” (crazy), pointing to the quirky character of this uniquely delicious wine. In its first vintage it was born out of a wine which couldn’t finish to ferment properly and was re-ignited by the skins of the new vintage. This is none other than the Litrozzo Bianco (Procanico, Malvasia, Roscetto, Verdello, Petino and Romanesco) “ripassato” on the skins of the Litrozzo Rosso (Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Merlot). Enough grapes? Energetic and crazy texture, with the witty tannins of a red and all the drinkability of a white, all vinnaturist attitude and pure juice: Turkish delight, Thay sweet chili sauce, fresh cranberries and strawberry and lavender compote.
