SORGA AFRICA
This is a real guerrillero of a fierce and splendidly complex natural wine from legendary negociant La Sorga. It’s a blend of typical Languedoc Roussillon grapes Cinsault and Carignan from organically farmed old vines and it sees wild fermentation with 3 weeks of cold maceration in steel tanks before a long elevage in old wood, of course without any intrusive and demeaning fining, filtration or added SO2. Powerful, defiant and blessedly drinkable: deep forest berries, light graphite and gunpowder, dark chocolate and liquorice.
