PRATOASCIUTTO 2005
Guido’s Dolcetto is an emotionally rich natural wine that follows Piedmont’s Langa tradition of making dolcetto from selected grapes from the best vineyards and aging it with care and patience. The name comes from the 15th century one given to the plot where the 40 years old vineyard now sits and is characterised by sandy-limestone solin infusing the wine with a sharply focused bright minerality. It shines with fresh wild blackberries and apple berries, pickled strawberries with thyme and black pepper and smoked watermelon. Of course minimal amount of added SO2.
