CHABLIS LE VENDANGEUR MASQUE
This elegantly sharp Chablis, one of the very rare natural wines within the denomination, is a wondrous beauty of deceptively simple elegance. It’s 100% Chardonnay from a single small parcel of younger vines on Kimméridgien limestone soils, grown organically in an area of North West Bourgogne that has been giving light to splendid white wines since the 12th Century. It ferments naturally then ages for no less than 8 months in barriques. Terse, tense and mineral with a sharp mineral character: delicate white peaches and saffron intertwine with pickled acacia blossom and lavender.
