PINOT NERO Magnum 2018
Caspri’s Pinot Noir, an homage to vigneron Bertrand Habsiger’s native Alsace, is born out of a single cru of about 20 years of age, ferments wildly in large wood and then ages for no less than 12 months in large barrels and used barriques. No fining, filtration or added SO2 to be found. It’s darkly and elegantly refined, shining with toasted juniper, wild arbutum berries with thyme and lavender, cedarwood smoke and grapefruit peel.
